Christ Will Satisfy: Fullness Of Joy Lasting As Eternity

Christ is the Heavenly Treasure which would satisfy the craving of human’s mind and heart.

He offers to us something better than anything we possess - the living water - the freedom, joy, hope and rest of His Gospel.

Moreover, He promises to satisfy the most urgent needs of the human soul.

The water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. John 4:14.

And, all the promises of God in Christ are yea, and in Him Amen. 2 Corinthians 1:20.

His eternal truth - large and deep will meet every want that you have.

Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and He shall say, Here I am. Isaiah 58:9.

Furthermore, the lasting and precious gifts of Him who have all power in Heaven and earth will satisfy the deepest craving of your heart

And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drouth, and make fat thy bones;

and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. Isaiah 58:11.

Come unto Him, that you might have life - now when still on this earth and for eternity.

I came that you might have life, and that you might have it more abundantly. John 10:10.

God knows our necessities and His beloved Son is the channel through which His love, mercy, and grace flow to satisfy our needs.

Furthermore, if in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable; 1 Corinthians 15:19.

How does God satisfy our needs?

Jesus has brought within our reach the power of earth and Heaven. Matthew 28:18.

Therefore, if we come to God, feeling that we are helpless without Christ, He will satisfy our wants from His abundant fullness. Psalm 36:8.

For it is through the acceptance of Christ that faith makes us partakers of the divine nature.

He is worthy - Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing. Revelation 5:12.

Moreover, He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him. Hebrews 7:25.

In Christ alone

This is the only way, because it is Cod's appointed way - God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself. 2 Corinthians 5:19.

Thus THROUGH, BY, or IN our Lord and Savior - Jesus Christ, we:

Therefore:

To us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by Him. 1 Corinthians 8:6.

Do you know the Gift of God

If thou knewest the gift of God…thou wouldest have asked of Him, and He would have given thee living water.

Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give them shall never thirst…and shall be in them a well of water springing up into everlasting life. John 4:10, 14.

Do you have the knowledge of anything more desirable than earthly pleasure and riches, title, rank, learning and power?

All they are worthless unless the name is enrolled in the Lamb's book of life.

Christ offers to all something better - the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Him. Philippians 4:7.

This is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. John 17:3.

Furthermore, He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life. John 3:36.

Thus in his/her heart there is a well of living water, the influence of which is felt by all with whom they associate.

In Christ is gathered all the glory of the Father, the fullness of the Godhead. He is the brightness of the Father's glory and the express image of His person.

The glory of the attributes of God is expressed in Christ’s character.

Therefore, nothing human can improve the Great and Precious Gift of God. It is without a flaw.

In Christ are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2:3.

Furthermore, He is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption. 1 Corinthians 1:30.

Therefore, all that can satisfy the needs and longings of the human soul for this world and for the world to come is found in Christ.

Come to your Elder Brother

Jesus knows the wants of the soul. Furthermore, He knows that self - importance, riches, and honour cannot satisfy one’s heart.

Therefore, He invites each and everyone - rich, poor, high and low are alike welcome.

If any man thirst, let him come unto Me and drink. John 7:37.

He promises to

Many of us now as those who heard Jesus centuries ago are seeking to satisfy our restless longing for that which perishes not with the things of the world and the praise of humans.

Nevertheless, when all is gained, we found we could not quench our thirst.

The fountain of life is open for all today, which shall be in us a well of water springing up into everlasting life. John 4:14.

Therefore, if any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink…And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Drink of the water of life, and you will be satisfied and refreshed.

Where does the satisfaction come from?

The answer is: for it will be in you a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

In other words, you could share freely to others what you received from Christ.

Love, light, truth and life are found in the Everlasting Gospel.

Christ's appeal is: Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden. Matthew 11:28.

Moreover,  Come unto Me, that ye may have life.

It is our part to come - to make our own choice and come to the fountain of life.

Ho, everyone that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money;

come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Isaiah 55:1.

Furthermore, it is our part to appropriate Divine truth. By faith we are to appropriate the promises of God.

Thus we provide ourselves with the abundant blessings which have been secured for us through Christ.

He has purchased forgiveness and immortality for the sinful, perishing souls of humans.

Nevertheless, it is our part to receive these gifts by faith. Believing in Him, we have this hope as an anchor of the soul, sure and steadfast. Hebrews 6:19.

Therefore, we may confidently expect God's favour not only in this world, but in the heavenly world, since He paid such a price for our salvation.

Satisfying our spiritual demands

I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger. John 6:35.

God the Father gave His only begotten Son to the world that all who come to Him might have everlasting life.

This sacred theme should be the food of our minds. With this bread of life we should satisfy our soul-hunger.

Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not?

Hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Isaiah 55:2.

If we do this, we cannot hunger for worldly excitement or grandeur. Our religious experience is of exactly the same quality as the food we give our minds.

For He satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. Psalm 107:9.

When cherished, the truth as it is in Jesus restores in this world the lost image of God in us.

Those who will do God’s will, shall know of the doctrine. John 7:17.

Moreover, turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out My Spirit unto you, I will make known My Words unto you

cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. Proverbs 1:23, Ezekiel 36:27.

Furthermore, It is the Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63.

Thus if you hunger and thirst after righteousness your soul is in harmony with Heaven, filling the heart with truth, peace and joy?

Conclusion

God through Christ will satisfy our wants from His abundant fullness.

In accepting Christ as our personal Savior, we would have everything.

He is the pearl so precious that in comparison all things else may be accounted a loss.

Furthermore, it is His purpose to impart peace and rest to all who come to Him for the bread of life.

Let not your heart be troubled…I will come again, and receive you unto Myself. John 14:1, 3.

Therefore, let us not pass by the only way that leads to the true riches in efforts to obtain earthly treasures which we think will satisfy our desires.
