New to Grafted To Grow and not sure were to begin?
The glory of the Gospel of grace is the righteousness of God exemplified and developed in the human life of Jesus Christ.
Thus He had restored the Image of God in humanity. His righteousness is the provision God has made for people's salvation.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.
This message is for the world. It is the will of God that none should perish, but that all should have eternal life through faith in the sacrifice of Christ.
We receive pardon through faith in the atoning sacrifice of Christ.
Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus;
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood;
Christ was the medium through which God could pour out His infinite love upon our fallen world.
God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself. 2 Corinthians 5:19.
He became sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.
In the light from Calvary it will be seen that:
The law of self-renouncing love is the law of life for earth and Heaven
The love which seeketh not her own has its source in the heart of God
In the meek and lowly One is manifested the character of Him who dwelleth in the light which no man can approach unto.
God has given His Only-begotten Son, that through His shame, suffering, and death you might have glory, honor, and immortality.
Therefore, These are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God;
and that believing ye might have life through His name. John 20:31.
We can not create faith. We grow in faith by the work of the Divine Spirit in us, impressing the truth upon our hearts and enlightening our minds.
