No Other Foundation But Jesus Christ - First Corinthians 3:11 KJV

For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

It pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell. Colossians 1:19. It is He that giveth the increase. And we are God's husbandry, and God's building. 1 Corinthians 3:7, 9.

For it is God which worketh in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure. Philippians 2:13.

Thus we are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord; for a habitation of God through the Spirit. Ephesians 2:20-22.

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 1 Corinthians 3:16.

Therefore, having the Spirit of truth in us, which proceeds from the Father and testifies of Christ, we have guidance into all truth and knowledge for the things to come. John 15:26; John 16:13.

The believer's faith foundation

Jesus asked His disciples: But whom say ye that I am? Peter answered: Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 16:15-17.

Therefore, without a special revelation humans can not attain to a knowledge of the Divine.

It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know? Job 11:8.

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.

But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 1 Corinthians 2:9, 10.

All this is not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; 1 Corinthians 2:11.

Paul continues in 1 Corinthians, chapter 3 on the subject of worldly wisdom:

 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. 1 Corinthians 3:18.

For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him? but we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16.

In Conclusion

Do you build on the solid rock - Christ Jesus. He is the sure foundation. In Him alone is our salvation. 

There is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.  Acts 4:12.

Furthermore, Christ founded His church upon the living Rock - Himself - His own body, broken and bruised for our sake. 

Against the church built upon this foundation, the gates of hell shall not prevail.
