As the children are partakers of flesh and blood,

Jesus also Himself likewise took part of the same.

Thus He became like unto His brethren,

As the Captain of our salvation He became perfect through suffering.

Jesus was in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.

That He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God;

Who is touched with the feeling of our infirmities.

He himself hath suffered being tempted, therefore, He is able to succor them that are tempted.

Thus Jesus brought many sons and daughters into glory.
