Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 

That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus;

This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear;

but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared; Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience;

Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us; Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus;

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead;

Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
