But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.
God gave Himself in His Son for the joy of receiving back our fallen world.
For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:2.
The Son of God took upon Himself humanity and became a servant.
Being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Philippians 2:8.
Jesus died for the sins of humans as the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all,
brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and his soul was made an offering for sin. Isaiah 53:6, 7, 10.
The lesson for them back then and now for us is that God will provide Himself a Lamb.
From His own love comes the Gift which reconciles us to Himself.
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life. John 3:16.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23.
Moreover, He invites you today:
Look unto Me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. Isaiah 45:22.

He can satisfy the craving of your heart. Believe the Son of God.
His hand is stretched out still.
