Welcome to The Great Controversy Between Christ And Satan

Through the illumination of the Holy Spirit, the scenes of the long-continued conflict between good and evil have been opened to the writer of these pages.

From time to time I have been permitted to behold the working, in different ages, of the great controversy between Christ, the Prince of life, the author of our salvation, and Satan, the prince of evil, the author of sin, the first transgressor of God's holy law.

Satan's enmity against Christ has been manifested against his followers.

The object of this book according to its author is to:

trace the history of the controversy in past ages
unfold of the great testing truths that at different periods have been given to the world
shed a light on the fast-approaching struggle of the future which will be marked with a terrible intensity such as the world has never witnessed

bring out facts and principles which have a bearing upon coming events
unfold the scenes of the great controversy between truth and error
reveal the wiles of Satan and the means by which he may be successfully resisted
shed such a light upon the origin and the final disposition of sin as to fully make manifest the justice and benevolence of God in all His dealings with His creatures
show the holy, unchanging nature of His law.

At the end of time Satan's deceptions will be more subtle and his assaults more determined.

Uplift Christ. You can make a difference.

For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. Mark 13:22.

The very means by which Christ establishes the Law, Satan shows it like destroying it. Here will come the last conflict of the great controversy between Christ and Satan.

This is foretold in prophecy. Of the great apostate power which is the representative of Satan it is declared:

He shall speak great words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and think to change times and laws:

and they shall be given into his hand. Daniel 7:25.

Leaders will surely set up their laws to counter-work the laws of God. They will seek to compel the consciences of others. When enforce these laws they will oppress their fellow citizens.

The warfare against God's law has begun in heaven. It will continue until the end of time. All will be called to choose between the law of God and the laws of men.

There will be but two classes - showing their loyalty or rebellion. Then the end will come.

This is an ongoing project. You are going to see chapters having application for the end of time.

In Short:

Nothing is more plainly taught in Scripture than that:

God was in nowise responsible for the entrance of sin
there was no arbitrary withdrawal of Divine grace and no deficiency in the Divine Government
God gave occasion for the uprising of rebellion.

No reason can be given for the presence of sin. It would cease to be sin if excuse for it can be found, or cause be shown for its existence.
