New to Grafted To Grow and not sure were to begin?
God gives light of understanding to everyone in every age. Moreover, a probationary time for reconciliation to Him.
When for years His plead of mercy and grace is rejected, one's heart becomes so hardened that it ceases to respond to His Spirit.
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 1 Timothy 4:1.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 2 Timothy 4:3, 4.
Then God cease His reproofs and warnings, because His voice entreats the sinner no longer.
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts...
who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator. Romans 1:24, 25.
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7.
Nevertheless, it is in mercy and love that He reveals to people the results of a course of sin.
Answer: 1 Thessalonians 5:3; Jeremiah 6:14.
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.
Question: What is the spiritual trend of the world?
Answer: 2 Timothy 3:12, 13; 1 Timothy 4:1.
All that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Question: What is to be preached in all the world before the coming of the Lord?
Answer: Matthew 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Answer: Matthew 13:24-30
Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers,
Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Question: What is represented by the wheat, tares and the harvest?
Answer: Matthew 13:38, 39
The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
Answer: 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Answer: Revelation 19:19, 20
And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him,
with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image.
These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Question: What is said of justice and truth in the last days?
Answer: Isaiah 59:14; Hosea 4:1, 2.
And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.
Hear the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel: for the Lord hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land,
because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.
By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.
Answer: Matthew 24:37-39
But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark;
Question: Why did the people not know in Noah's day that the flood was coming? What was the condition of the earth then?
Answer: Genesis 6:5, 11
And God saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
Question: In the midst of this evil, what is said of Enoch and Noah?
Answer: Genesis 5:22, 6:9
And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
Question: What other illustration is given us of the last days?
Answer: Luke 17:28-30
Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
Answer: 2 Peter 2:6-9
And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
(For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
Question: In what only is the hope of the world?
Answer: Romans 1:16; 1 Timothy 1:15; Hebrews 7:25
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.
Answer: 2 Peter 3:11-13
Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Question: What will then fill the earth?
Answer: Numbers 14:21; Isaiah 14:7; Revelation 5:13
But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord.
The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.
And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying:
Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
The wheat and tares grow together until the harvest. The children of light are scattered among the children of darkness, that the contrast may be seen by all.
Thus the children of God show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
It will be as a glimpse of Heaven granted to the people of the world that they may see and appreciate its excellence.
Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls; Jeremiah 6:16.
