The same seventh day Sabbath - founded, hallowed and blessed by God at creation - is reinforced in His moral Law. it is the forth commandment of the Decalogue.
It is to be remembered and observed as memorial of the Creator's work. Moreover, it points to God as the Maker of Heaven and the earth, distinguishing Him as the true God from all false gods.
Therefore, by observing the Sabbath we show that we recognize God as the living God - the Creator of Heaven and earth.
God blessed humans with capacity to appreciate His character, love and relationship. Furthermore, with ability to love Him, and to choose His service.
To those who love God it will be the highest delight to keep His Commandments and to do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
Furthermore, in order to keep the Sabbath holy, people must themselves be holy. Through faith and by Christ's grace they must become partakers of His righteousness.

Then said the Lord unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, t
hat I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.
And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.
And he said unto them, This is that which the Lord hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the Lord:
bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.
They laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein.
And Moses said, Eat that to day; for to day is a sabbath unto the Lord: to day ye shall not find it in the field.
Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none.
And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none.
And the Lord said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?
See, for that the Lord hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days;
abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.
So the people rested on the seventh day.

Question: Through whom were all things created?
Answer: Colossians 1:16
For by Him (Christ) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers:
all things were created by Him, and for Him.
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Answer: Christ, being the Creator made the Sabbath and gave it to humans as a sign of His creative power.

in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day:
wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Answer: Nehemiah 9:11-14.
And thou didst divide the sea before them, so that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry land;
and their persecutors thou threwest into the deeps, as a stone into the mighty waters.
Moreover thou leddest them in the day by a cloudy pillar; and in the night by a pillar of fire, to give them light in the way wherein they should go.
Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven, and gavest them right judgments, and true laws, good statutes and commandments:
And madest known unto them thy holy sabbath, and commandedst them precepts, statutes, and laws, by the hand of Moses thy servant;
Answer: Ezekiel 20:12, 20.
Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the Lord that sanctify them.
And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the Lord your God.
Question: If God's people had been faithful in observing the Sabbath, how long would Jerusalem have stood?
Answer: Jeremiah 17:24, 25.
And it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto me, saith the Lord, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath day,
but hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein;
Then shall there enter into the gates of this city kings and princes sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem:
and this city shall remain for ever.
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
On the next day - the seventh day, God had established His memorial of creation. Blessing is pronounced on time as it was on living creatures.
God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it. Thus He endowed this day with quality He posses.
Furthermore, after creating the planet earth and everything needed for Adam and Eve to live in Eden, on the next day - the seventh day of God's rest He had a face to face communion with them.
