New to Grafted To Grow and not sure were to begin?
Accountable beings such as the followers of Christ must walk in the light that shines upon them.
They do it as exemplifying the goodness of God revealed in His Word and by His Spirit.
God sends rays of light to show humans their true condition.
Thus if they refuse to walk in the light, it is evident that they take pleasure in darkness.
They avoid the light, lest their deeds should be reproved.
Neglecting to practice the light causes a spiritual weakness.
God requires of His people according to the grace and truth given them.
All His righteous demands must be fully met and they will denounce the world.

If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him. 1 John 21:5, 29.
If humans will walk with God, He will hide them in the cleft of the Rock. Thus hidden, they can see God, even as Moses saw Him.
By the power and light that He imparts they can comprehend more and accomplish more than their finite judgment had deemed possible.
Here is the warning from the pan of inspiration if they fail to do this.
Their light becomes darkness, and their darkness is great according to the degree that their light was abundant.
But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness.
If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! Matthew 6:23.
The precious Word of God is to be a lamp to your path and a light to your feet. It is your privilege to walk in the light and to grow up to the full stature of men and women in Christ Jesus.
This is the result of sanctification through the truth as it is in Jesus. And this is what God requires of all.
The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple. Psalm 119:130.
Those who are preparing for the last great day will go forward in accordance with the accumulated light.
It shines upon them from the prophecies and from the lessons of Christ and the apostles.
To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Isaiah 8:20.
The truth of Scriptures will be witnesses against God's messengers in the last great day, if rejected.
They saw the light, but for various reasons in harmony with the carnal heart, would not receive it.
In other words they would not receive the truth that was given to save them.
For instance, God gave light in regard to the true Sabbath. He will judge the world in righteousness before His second coming.
Therefore, let us seek the Lord earnestly for humility of heart, that He may teach us how to walk in the light of His counsel and understand His word.
Furthermore how to accept it and put it into practice.
We have also a more sure word of prophecy;
whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts. 2 Peter 1:19.

If the professed followers of Christ would, with purity of heart, exercise as much faith in the promises of God as they repose in Satanic agencies, they would realize in soul and body the life-giving power of the Holy Spirit.
Christ condescended to take our nature, that He might reach to the very depths of human woe and degradation. Furthermore, to elevate and ennoble us.
With such evidence of His incomparable love, how can any turn from the God of light and power, and give heed to Satan - the author of all our woes?
We must build upon the foundation which He has prepared for us. No one is to build upon his own foundation, independent of the plan which God has devised.
Furthermore, everyone who professes to be illuminated by the Spirit of God in this time will be required to enlighten others.

They do not accept the world's low standard, but work from the Bible standpoint.
Here is a threefold message proclaimed by heavenly beings. This message is declared to be a part of the everlasting gospel.
The work of preaching the gospel has not been committed to angels, but has been entrusted to mankind.
They were those who had taken heed to the sure word of prophecy,
the light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day-star arise. 2 Peter 1:19.
