For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.
We can not create faith.Â
It is by the work of the Divine Spirit impressing the truth upon our hearts and enlightening our minds.
The gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth. Romans 1:16.
The gospel is called the power of God unto salvation because Christ alone can make the truth a power which sanctifies the soul.
When sinners believe that Christ is their personal Savior, God pardons their sins and justifies them freely according to His unfailing promises.
Moreover, repentant souls realize that their justification is of Christ as their substitute, atonement and righteousness.Â
The entrance of Thy words giveth light
Their lives and words testify that:
The blood of Jesus Christ cleanseth us from all sin. 1 John 1:7.
Furthermore, our hope of eternal life depends on Him. The righteousness of Christ is imputed to us as a free gift from God. There's no any merit on our part.
Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood,Â
to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; Romans 3:24, 25
Eternal life is an infinite gift. It is impossible for us to earn it. The righteousness of Christ must go before us if the glory of the Lord becomes our reward.
We can overcome only by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of our testimony. Revelation 12:11.

He can satisfy the craving of your heart. Believe the Son of God.
