Christ became sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.
Thus by the atoning sacrifice of His Son, God has reconciled the world to Himself, not imputing humans' trespasses unto them.
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God,
being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit; 1 Peter 3:18.
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood,
to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; Romans 3:25.
The Father loved us and sent His only begotten Son to be the Saviour of the world, that we might live through Him.
But God commendeth His love toward us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8.
Christ Became Sin For Us
The Son of God took human nature - He took on Him the seed of Abraham with all the infirmities and corruption since the fall of our first parents.
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same;
that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; Hebrews 2:14.
He humiliated Himself to the lowest level of human's sorrow and became a servant.
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; The Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
For he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. Isaiah 53:3-8.
Thus Jesus placed redemption within our reach through His infinite sacrifice and inexpressible suffering.
It is a true saying: Behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, Lamentations 1:12, because:
Abhorring sin with a perfect hate - yet He takes the sins of the whole world
Innocent - yet offering Himself as a substitute for transgressors.
Christ's spirit was bruised by the transgressions of humans, though the guilt of sin was not His.
For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. Hebrews 2:10.
Thus fallen humans through Christ are placed where, they may indeed become worthy of the name sons of God.
Will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and He shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.
In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The Lord our righteousness. Jeremiah 33:15, 16.
As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name; John 1:12.
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory; Colossians 1:27.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17.
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:30, 31.
Therefore, let us behold Him and become changed into the image of Him in whom dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily, and realize that we are accepted in the Beloved.
When we submit ourselves to Christ, abiding in Him and living His life, we are clothed with the garment of His righteousness.
The Son of God was manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin. 1 John 3:5.
Moreover, the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood,
to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; Romans 3:22-25.

Christ gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father;
For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.
He put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
Christ is our atoning sacrifice and by faith we can accept the atonement that has been made.
Thus we have the assurance that when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, therefore, we shall be saved by his life. Romans 5:10.
You are the light of the world.
That light originates in God - the ultimate source of light. It is His loving, merciful, gracious, righteous, truthful and forgiving character. This is the light of God's glory.
This then is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. 1 John 1:5.
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
How can a man be born when he is old? How can these things be? John 3:4, 9.
This new birth is the result of receiving Christ as the Word of God. Moreover, of the Divine truths impressed by the Holy Spirit upon the heart.
The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63.
His hand is stretched out still. Why wait longer?

The Spirit of God is pleading with you to seek for those things that alone can give you peace and rest - the grace of Christ and the joy of holiness. Give to Christ your guilt and fear today.
He can satisfy the craving of your heart. Believe the Son of God.
