Why Did Jesus Die Of A Broken Heart On The Cross?

Jesus is the spotless Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. 

In the last act of cruelty upon the cross, Satan was hoping that Jesus will use His Divinity to deliberate Himself.

On the contrary, He bore our sins in His own body upon the tree. The iniquity of humans was laid upon Christ.

He was counted as a transgressor. God hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. 

The sin of the entire world - from Adam down the line to Christ's second advent - separated Him from the Father. 

The withdrawal of the Divine countenance pierced Jesus’s heart with great sorrow.

This sin is broad, deep and dark and cause 

The gift of life for humanity is purchased at an infinite price.   

Save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross.

He saved others; himself he cannot save. Matthew 27:40, 42. John 19:34.

But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.
